Spirit levels...
Im looking at replenishing my tools (as you may have guessed by all my posts on tools this evening
) and am looking at getting a new set of levels.
My first question is what levels you guys use and would recommend?
Next question is about sonic levels (think thats what they are called)? I have seen themsomewheree and a customer of mine swears by them. Spirit levels that either light up when they are totally level or beep, they are meant to be incredibly accurate. Has anybody used them? I cant find any info on them.

Re: Spirit levels...
Yeah, I have the fat max and the Stabila at the moment, cant fault them in any way. Think I might just buy the same again.
Any thoughts on the sonic jobbies?

Think I've got every make of level under the sun, but the main one's I use are the Stabila and my Fat Max. Love the Fatmax range for all my hand tools too and always replace wornout or broken tools with them.....

Stabila levels, I'd rather see a bubble than hear a bleep personally

Stabila for me, never used anything else 1800, 1200, 600 and 300mm had them for years and always looked after them so they are still in decent nick, I empty the van every now and again and clean all my tools! Bit sad really but I don't have to replace much.

Re: Spirit levels...
That sounds like a pretty confident vote for the fat max and the stabila then.
I have been training my brother up and he is at the stage where I want to leave him on jobs, up til now we have shared a lot of the tools, time to have a good re-stock and make sure that we have everything for both of us.
