Exclamation Profile Tool ?????

What advice can you offer for intricate cuts. Like around mouldings, sinks etc.
Is a profile gauge any good or is making a paper template the better way?
Or have you any other better ways to tackle these.
Thanx

Try a rolled up strip of tin foil. Keeps the shape quite well.

You could always try using one of these: http://www.axminster.co.uk/product-A...urve-19520.htm

I've tried the cardboard method and it works well but if you get yourself a flexible curve you can pretty much mould it to any shape and it keeps its shape!

If all else fails go on a quick plumbing/sanitation course and take the blinking thing out - gives a better finish too!!

Where's that post I did with the image of the (fair to say poor) example of the scribing in around an object. Accompanied by Dave's info on scribing in.
