Thinking of getting a new cutter and after a little advice.
I have a ts 40 and a ts 60.
Doing a job at the mo and starting the floor tomorrow (finished the splashback today), it is a porelain floor 30 x 60.
Have a little problem though, brought a few of the tiles home with me tonight to check they cut ok, no way will my ts 60 cut them cleanly. Tried holding my hand at opposite end of snapper, tried different sized scoring wheels but all to no prevail.

Thinking of going out in the morning and getting a tx700n. Anyone who has one of these will it cut all porcelain with no problem atall?

Also if i do get a tx would there be any point in me keeping hold of my ts 60?

I have the tx700n and have been cutting grade 5 porcelain no probs all week...keep the ts60 as well as its a lot lighter than the TX and is handy for big ceramics.....

Think the tx is a sound investment?
Is it a major difference when using it to cut porcelain compared to a ts 60?

Dunno about the Rubi, but I'll be putting my Husqvarna 670 through it's paces tomorrow.

Well i got my tx 700N this morning, amazing piece of kit. Cuts the Porelain like butter. Got it from Tiles UK for 280 quid which i was more than happy with (screwfix sell the non N version for that price)

Forgot I had a minor op at the doctors today for a mole removal, so 6 stitches later just where my knee pad straps go Im now starting it tomorrow.

Will post how it goes tomorrow evening.
