Ive just spent 3 hrs on the internet looking for a vac for work .something that will be able to handle grinding dust aswell as the usual grout and dust work involved. Also something that doesnt need bags . As usual ive confused myself even more looking at lots of sites (dust extractors, vacs, work vacs ,site vacs, powertool vacs, powertool dust extraction etc ,etc ....) As everything in life im trying not to spend a great deal at moment as im only starting out and the last six months has been quite an expensive time. Anybody got any recomendations ???
I would advise you to get something with a power take off socket. That means your power tool can be plugged into the cleaner and it switches on and off with the power tool. This is similar to mine. You can see the socket near the top. If you need 110v you may need to pay a bit more. Vac King Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner - CVAC30SSR - Machine Mart
I bought an Edward from Screwfix when they had him on offer. This replaced my old vac that didn't have a bag. This one has and even when full still sucks up dust. With the filter in no dust in the air. Recommended.
I had a Henry, he had enough and blew himself up so I went down to B&Q and picked up one of the cheapy wet and drys, performance and power I think its called. Cost 20 something quid and has twice the suck of my henry and has lasted well over 18 months, a bargain if you ask me. imagesCA1KKY7D.jpg

Really? That could be interesting to me.. as to images... try again? What's it called so I can google it, and how heavy is it, same or heavier than the Henry? What attachements come with it?

I was well impressed with it, I thought it would only last me a couple of weeks but its still going strong. Has no weight to it at all and could suck granny off the toilet
Theres a charles on b and q site half price !!! £72
yes, I saw that, just now, too - realized it's the George I want, though... go the names mixed up, want the carpet cleaner, too... want everything, as usual... can#'t afford that now though!
