Montolit
Spoke to Dave at Tradetiler today decided to go for a Montolit 63-P2 he talked me into it,I said on earlier post wanted a cutter for 600 porc that was good and light.Always had Rubi and like my TX900N but find a bit big and heavy to lug around and set up on privet jobs where space is issue.Sigma works back to front for me. I'm looking forward to comparing to my Rubi cutters.I bought a Montolit DNA for my DW24000 fantastic blade it almost wants to pull the tile through highly recomend.

Re: Montolit
I got the same machine off Dave last year...a great bit of kit. Nice and light and easy to set up. The customers love it when it comes out the van!!! I also bought the small version which is much easier to use for smaller tiles or for kitchens. Enjoy it!!!

Re: Montolit
I switched from Rubi to Montolits and love them. I have a 43 and a 63. I was surprised at how light they are.
But for small tiles for splash backs, lack of space etc I bought a Rubi Star 40 N Plus it takes up no room at all.

Re: Montolit
I have that cutter too and its brilliant, especially on mosaics! I havent tried it with a mosaic mat though which i understand makes it even better.
I think the best bit of it is the weight and the ease of use when doing 45 cuts as the measure scale is easy to use. It takes a little while to get used to how to adjust the wheel pressure and not being able to see your cut line as its single rail but i cracked that in about an hour of using it

Re: Montolit
I thought the mats were a lot of money for what they are, i guess as long as it gives it a firm base and stops them slipping all over the place a bit of card sounds lot cheaper
