I use a big clinker for porcs, I have a tx1200 and its brill. Will get a tx700 when the work picks up a bit more.

Re: Dry Cutters for porcelain
I use Rubi, must say though, after watching the Sigma's in action over the last few weeks, I'm impressed, it's just the action differences that might take some getting used to, a nice sturdy bit of kit though.

Re: Dry Cutters for porcelain
You need to find a friendly tool trader who will let you try them out, or visit one of the manufacturers trade days - Rubi are holding these at CTD stores around the UK throughout the year. Trust me - it depends on the individual - I prefer the Rubi TX700 and found the Montolit difficult to get consistent good results with - but other tilers prefer the Montolit. Never tried the Sigma.

I have TX900N and a TS 30,40,50 and 60 The TS 60 is not good enough for pors the 900 is a bit big and heavey for 600 tiles thinking of talking to Dave at trade tiler about a Montolit the one to cut 600 is alot lighter than than Rubi.

Re: Dry Cutters for porcelain
i use the new Sigma 3CM and it is fantastic.
i have used the Montolit/Raimodi cutters (3 of em) also used a Rubi TX 700N but the Sigma blows them all away.
the New Sigma 3cm has 1200kg breaking power..nice clean cuts

We've had this discussion on TF before, I don't have a problem with the TS range and porc tiles, yes, you might get the odd tail, I find I can get over that by a heavy first 20mm score then score as normal and it cuts clean, each to their own though.
