    Default Tyrolit

    Hi Guys, I came I recently bought this cutter, not from this site i might add. I knew a rep & got it considerably cheaper.


    Was wondering if anyone had used one & what they are best suited for, I have used it with Stone, marble & ceramic on occasions.

    Nope , never even seen one in the flesh. Maybe you can let us know more. Seems very expensive compared to others in the same scene.

    never used one, not sure if it can mitre tiles that well as I believe its got a fixed position blade

    looks like the for-runner of the dewalt i wonder what the throw is the dewalts is about 300 if i remember when i used it ?

    I have used it on 600mm travertine with no problems, also even cut a marble hearth down to size which was 30mm thick & 750mm long.
    It comes with an attachment to do mitres, which I havn't used as yet only had cutter a couple of months. Next time I use it I'll get some pictures of all the attachments in use etc & see how the mitre cutting turns out.
    On the whole so far it seems a capable machine, I had never seen one either untill I bought it.
    Will keep you informed as to how it goes.
