I do own one but the replacement diamond wheels are a rip off so it never gets used. Diamond core bits and a grinder with a 110mm glass blade for all my holes and fiddly stuff.

i have an early rotozip...well in fact I have two because they werent too good. But last year I bought some of the newer bits for it inc the diamond X bit but I still couldnt get on with it. Recently i have used it a few times to get over some problems and I am glad I hung onto it now.

dremmel bits won't touch porcelain, only good for ceramics or soft stone.

that's since bosch took over dremmel tho Dave, the old dremmel bits were great for soft tiles in my rotocut, but that went in the skip before the x-bits came out.

I use my dremel all the time, its especially usefull for cutting out grout (for repairs to other peoples work of course :-) but I buy a set of about 20 diamond tipped bits for about £8.00 inc postage from ebay.......much more sensible than the official ones.

There is scarcely anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse, and sell a little more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man's lawful prey.
