Angle finders
Bought a T5 from Trade Tiler the other day, not getting on with it to well for various reasons, anyone got the Rubi version and can give some feedback on it?
Alternatively do people bother? Ive used a mitre gauge for years but thought that one of these dedicated finders might make life a little easier and quicker!

Re: Angle finders
T5 is more for diamond set floors..
I use a sliding bevel to copy and angle or scribe to fit.

Re: Angle finders
Looks a good idea Dave but by the time I had done all that I could have cut the tile twice.

Ermmm its a lot simplier but still suffers with the grout line width dependent on the width of the metal on the rubi. I found that it was making the cut too large , so I glued a small strip of aluminium to the frame which gave me a perfect size and included a 1mm gap to the wall...does that make sense ? Its easy when you see it working. The Rubi only does one angle at a time though.

Re: Angle finders
T5 is the same in that respect, one angle at a time. As for the strip idea, yup, makes perfect sense! To be honest I was going to get the Rubi but was talked out of it by the guy on the phone!
