Discuss karl dahm wet band saw in the Tiling Tools at TilersForums; hello has any one used a wet cut band saw? are they any good? i have found one by karl dahm in germany, but i am unsure of its use, ...

    Default karl dahm wet band saw

    hello
    has any one used a wet cut band saw? are they any good?
    i have found one by karl dahm in germany, but i am unsure of its use, do blades snap easy. i do art with ceramic, and need something to cut curves. any suggestions will be welcome.

    Saw a link on this site once to a beauty of a wet cutter that you could scroll with, very expensive though, but very very impressive. Try doing a search for "wet cutters" and see what comes up.

    Thats not the one I was thinking about. The one I was talking about was not a band saw, it was like a normal wet cutter design but the blade was hollow and was edge driven.

    dave why did you lol about the gemini?
    have you used one? or is it because it looks a bit hobbyish and not sturdy enough?
    it seemed to cut through that tile,marble ok.
