I emailed Trade Tiler and they said they should be back in in 3 weeks. I've spent hours on the phone today trying to source one......mare!

Though unless you're saving a lot of cash, I wouldn't buy one off eBay personally. I'd want to know I can moan to somebody if it goes wrong, especially with spending a few quid on it. It's a bit hit and miss is eBay.

Maybe I shouldn't say this....but when I was back in England I have seen a few guys running 240v power tools connected to 110v transformers that were basically a shell, running 240v tools with yellow leads and 110v plugs/sockets, still don't understand why the Uk is the only place in Europe that insists on 110v power tools on construction sites or does anywhere else insist on 110v?

Please wait for the DW24000 to come into stock and don't be tempted to stray to another manufacturer - you will be over the moon you were patient in the long run

I got mine delivered last Thurs less than 24 hours from ordering it. I was hanging around for the 110v but Dave at tradetiler told me the 240v has a cut off lead attatched and is upto 100watts more powerful than the 110v version. I still have to play around with it properly but so far its my dreeam toy!
