Hello fellow, hard working, underpaid fixers!
Can anyone advise the pro's & cons of these tools please.
I'm looking to purchase a Rotozip asap but unsure as I've been left frustrated by tile drills soooo many times.

save your money i found the rotozip badly chipped porcelain when i used one ,perhaps I was using it wrong but I think its better for stone and ceramic

Not had any probs with my Rotozip but these are different to using hole cutters though..
Hole cutters are just that and are designed to cut quickly and to the exact size you use..
A Rotozip is a free hand machine more for shaping curves in tiles and other materials that a hole cutter will not do.. So in theory you would have full use of both hole cutters and a Rotozip.. but if you only want it for hole cutting then 365 drills is your best bet..
Good advice thanks Dave, that will help with DMP.
Rgds,
Mike

If you can hang on mike.. Rotozips are being phased out and bosch who did the rotozip are bringing out the GR30, new design/new machine..

That's interesting Dave, when and where can I get hold of one, and do you you know approx cost? Could do wth one asap.

Not released yet... but you will get a good deal on a Rotozip.. so still a great machine..

These are a toolbox essential for all tilers. Every tiler should have this set!

You will find that the bathroom fitters tile drilling kit is a useful addition to your tools.
Just fit the right size drill bit to a cordless drill driver. No need for power cords....
