has anybody on here got the sigma 5?

the reason i wanted this was for things like laying quarries, hard floor tiles upto 500mm, cutting mosaics etc. the tx700 can be a bit big at times so something that cuts to the size would be a nice addition.

can you set the stop gauge to do diagonals?? i dont want a 3b because of the long measuring arm. just my ts40, sigma 5, tx700 and in the very near future, the sgma 3ek.....then thats it then, full house..

cool yeh im very particular with my tools and tile machines always keep them clean very important i just think that box for storage is a super idea for keeping your van tidy and getting more stuff in it

its hard in ireland to get good tile tools theres 1 place in dundalk that do the sigma with a reasonable price, anything else ill get of tradetiler but shipping rates are killer for big machines and tile sponges which are a rip off
    here as well

Aston you would be better off going the 3 series you can set the gauge on the 5 series to do 45 but its much easier on the 3 series just bear in mind tiles are getting bigger so dont skimp on the size when transporting just fold arm past 45 degree mark
