think they are a bit pricey, but the mrs granda is a joiner and makes me them up when needed so paying for one is going to be a bummer...![]()

Yes I have one of these. Its ok but I could do without it...that said I dont use it that much. It is much better than a standard mitre block when cutting stainless trim.

Wow, I could use that next month. I have a lot of Schluter trim going into a job and that would make the cuts a lot easier and more accurate. I googled it and found it at Tradetiler, but nothing in the US. Will have to keep looking.![]()

No distributors in the US. It's either buy it directly from NZ off of the website, or convince Tradetiler to ship one to the US for me.![]()

I have just bought one for a job this week. Loads of mitres to cut in 12.5mm square edge metal trims so needed something a bit more sturdy than the usual crappy mitre blocks I buy. I think the replaceable saw guides is a good idea as it saves you cutting into the block itself! I will let you know how I get on![]()

Quansol Mitre Box

Used Quansol Mitre Box for the first time today and I am very impressed. I've always cut pretty much perfect mitres before but these are spot on! I've cut square edge metal trims and angle bead metal trims. The clamp on the box kept the trim in place which made cutting easier than ever before. If cutting metal trims always use 32tpi hacksaw blades so they run smoothly whilst cutting. I've bought 24tpi blades before but could not use them. 300mm Hacksaw needs to be used, tradetiler currently out of stock but here's link Tradetiler Tile Trims . I've added some pictures so you can see results. Cheers Ross
