I can seriously recommend Stabila if you're looking for an long-lasting one that you can keep calibrating over the years. A brilliant level and they have been for decades!

Would advise against buying them from the internet. Nice to be able to check they're level in the shop before spending £££.

stabila levels are the business but at the price youwill need to justify it,there box levels are not up to much though and i would prefer fatmax or magnassun. i recently got a new set of magnussons from b&q at nearley half there normal price(got 4 levels for about £70

The Draper Expert (Kapro) levels are good for the price. Had my oldest one a few years and it's taken a few knocks and is still fine.

There is a budget Stabila range as well as the more expensive. I ahve a set and found them excellent. Be careful if you get the 1800mm as the one i got has 2 horizontal bubbles and they are set quite away from the centre of the level and you cant really see them proplery. When you try to see if its level you end up moving it

Hi mate...I recently purchased a set of magnusons (probably spelt wrong) from B & Q. Got a 1800mm, 1200mm, 900mm, 600mm, magnetic 300mm and 5m tape in a padded bag for £39.99. They may be cheap but seem like good value. Not sure if it was a local deal or national but worth a look.
