will post pic's tomorrow if i remember!

looks different to the other trowels posted.

best way to describe is a normal square notched trowel where some one has got a set of grips on the notches and bent them 45 degrees

quite often Phil, I resort to left handedness even though I'm predominantly right handed. I turn trowel round back to front.

I saw a trowel in my local suppliers the other day, best I can descibe is like z notched, supposed to give a solid bed but save on addy (?)I'd imagine that the addy would fold over and leave voids trapped tho'. I might get one and use it on a dry area wall and see how it performs

I did not use more adhesive than a normal 10mm trowel.

As the tile was a large format i normally back each tile with a tight coat of adhesive as well as spreading to floor areas to ensure excellent coverage.

When i lifted up a few of the tiles to check coverage i pretty much had 100 percent coverage without backing.

    much quicker and cleaner

    happy days
