Discuss Fatmax level in the Tiling Tools at TilersForums; Just noticed that Cosco are now selling 48"Fatmax for £15.99 +vat seems like a good level as i have been using Alan p`s looks like a good price ?...

    Just noticed that Cosco are now selling 48"Fatmax for £15.99 +vat seems like a good level as i have been using Alan p`s looks like a good price ?

    that is a good price, certainly one of the more rebust levels at the moment
    alcohol-the cause and solution to all of lifes problems

    I'm a dyed in the wool Stabila man but if you guys think Fatmax are good I might give them a try, at that price nothing to lose. Fat Max are made by Stanley I presume ( no pun intended} Dr. Livingstone and Stanley etc. i'll get me coat

    I use the 1.2m Fat Max all the time Phil - great level, really solid and robust as David says

    With built in magnets as well
    Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarfs are not happy

    When Fatmax came out 3 or 4 years ago I thought it was a marketing ploy but I have to say every bit I've bought from the range has been of professional quality, I really have been impressed it.

    That is a cracking price in fact half price for what i've seen, i've already got decent levels but it would be silly not to add this to the collection at that price, cheers mate

    I had stabila's for years (must've had my 83s for at least 25!) but I wouldn't swap from fat max now

    I knew a joiner 64 yrs old who worked with the wooden level his father bought him when he started his apprenticeship when he was 15. I checked it and it was spot on.

    I have used fatmax and agree that they are good levels, gone back to stabila recently but would definately recommend the fat max ,has any one tried the AMI brand levels ?
