This may sound silly to some but make sure the new sponge is dry and the area where sponge is going is dry and free of any dirt etc,prior to glueing.

I've got the Karl Dahm and it is very robust. Excellent bearings in the rollers and a galvanised grid. Cost me about £68 delivered from Trade Tiler.

You get what you pay for in life generally. I prefer to pay a bit more for what I think is better quality. Things tend to last longer and therefore maybe, are a bit cheaper to buy and own in the long run.
