    Has Anyone Used A Grouting Gun

    Screwfix sell a pointing/grouting gun for approx £20.

    Are they any good for a job such as grouting an 18m square slate patio with 10mm gaps....????

    Or can you recommend any other makes....?

    hiya,ive never used one myself but read plenty reports and opinions on them most of which thought they were a waste of time,if your doing slate and its riven then i find a large toothbrush gets rid of any unwanted grout stuck in the egges/clefts of the slate as you go.

    I've never liked them. Often they're not really quicker or easier than grouting normally.

    not for me,i thought about getting one but you still need to push the grout into the joints and thought i would end up using the float also
    alcohol-the cause and solution to all of lifes problems

    I bought one years back, £400 reduced to £50! Its went back after the first try, waste of time,

    Used one years ago for doing an epoxy floor in the Findus factory - never used one since.....
