Yes

Especially if your doing a lot of core holes in stone or porcelain.

Also, I would make sure you get a Lithium Ion battery - holds it's charge even when not in use.

As said, make sure you get the Li-on battery, also Bosch wouldn't be my first choice, I've had Dewalt, Bosch, Makita and Hitachi, Hitachi win hands down for torque

I had 18v Dewalt and certainly wouldnt go any lower than that on power. I have also just bought the lithium Ion batts for it and they are amazing!

the hitachi cordless are good but im not sure they are better than the blue bosch

I have two bosch, a makita and a hitachi cordless, out of the three the bosch are the strongest and hold their charge better. they are also the best balanced , though heavier than the other two

as for the power, 14 is a good size for screwing and the 18 is better for drillling but is heavy for a screw gun

If you do a lot of screwing.... no pun intended..... then id recommend an impact driver and a seperate drill.

18V, but check the battery output , it does make a difference.

makita for me , 18v its small ,great power , and it comes in the best looking case
