I have a Sigma model no ART 5-B 62cm have had it for 7yrs great machine however i have broken the knob that secures the measurement arm.I dropped a tile directly on to it
and i need a new one does any one know where to get spares from?

Sigma have Flimsy breakable parts then..

Its listed as £12 but when i have bought off them those prices are less 50% so £6 +vat + p&p

No.....much much better and it wasnt Sigma that copied a Rubi design , it was the other way around....but they failed

But they have breakable Knobs.... Rubi's don't..

rubi has those stupid little pin things that hold the measuring bar in position that ping off if over tightened

Ermm i beg to differ and they have breakable snappers and rubber pads that fall off,....etc etc....i remember some bloke on here named Dave telling me all about his issues with his Rubi cutters

prob a bit complexed for you hint turn knobs clockwise will tighten then the other way will loosen them theres only 4 adjustments on the sigma sad you didnt feel confident

well, thats what can happen when you use a tile cutter that pulls towards you

think of the health & safety!!!.....think rubi

my knob is fine (sigma)

my knobs a bit bent but it still works
