you can cut glass tiles with a scribe tile cutter just like any other tile or you can cut them with a electric wet cutter for removeing thin cuts! but i would scribe them first for removing small cuts and then run them threw the wet cutter as this prevents chipping! i would make sure you have a quality blade and lots of water with an electric wet cutter

As peckers really.
I tend to use a hand held set of Oporto cutters - they have a glass cutting wheel and snapping action in one.
Smaller cuts on wet machine.
Make sure you use a 'white' adhesive as off white/cream can affect the colour of the glass tile.
Non scratch grout to finish.
If the cut edge chips the white backing colour of the tile - you can touch up with 'tipex'.
Wear goggles!

thanks for the advice,but tried scribing first and when tried to cut tile it kept on breaking along the scribed edge

what cutter are you useing and what was the size off the piece you were removeing at the time?

Iwas cutting an 8mm wide cut,I am using a hand scorer and dry wheel disc cutter

imo an 8mm piece is to small for any scribe and break machine although some one will prop prove me wroung lol

you havent got a wet cutter then? it could be worth getting a cheap plasplugs or similiar from b+q?

you could do it with a small grindette 4" grinder with a good quality blade marcrist or similiar.
I would scribe as you have done then run the grinder blade upto your scribe line running the blade over the top of the tile all the way along the cut not to much pressure let the blade do the work!
cut to about 2mm depth then cut fom both ends all the way threw the depth of the tile, then start at one end and go all the way threw the tile to the end this will prevent the end from snapping off.

this is not the best way it would be worth buying a small wet cutter for this job for about £40.00 you will get a better finish and a better quicker cut!!!

last time i used glass tiles it was the porcelanosa glass border tile, i used my sigma no problem

you can scribe or use a dry cutter but it really depends on how thick they are.

if you are using a wet cutter,(i use a little briccolina) you will need a nice thing glass blade...tt sell sankyo which are on budget blades but really good!! keep a bucket of water hand an dip the tiles in after wet cutting, the glass shreds really small and stciks to the tiles and it can be quite dangerous!!

Never thought of tipex, must try that
