tryed the sigma for the first time!
got a go on the new sigma 93cm in my local tile shop big beast and very sturdy too and a lot lighter than the rubi equivallent. took a little while to get the hang of pulling instead of the pushing im used to on the rubi, and on my first couple of cuts i hit down on the breaker instead on just pressing and shattered the tile but once i got the hang of it it did break very clean. so not sure if im going to buy the jury still out but deffo a nice cutter and looks the part too he would sell for £300 instead of £340 is this a good price i know the rubi is around the £380 mark with a good saving of £80 quid!

Welcome to the club, (if you buy it) they are great cutters, I would not change mine for any other type.

The pulling would put me off, pushing feels so more natural

Looked at a Montolit but didnt like it. Too many parts to wear and break.
Buy a Sigma and you dont need a secondary breaker.

Re: tryed the sigma for the first time!
try scribing then put pressure on one side of the tile (right or left hand )then ease the breaker down with practice you can watch the tile break on score slowly if you get my drift
