    Default has anyone used one of these

    hi all, im after a new wet cutter and have seen this in machine mart for £140, that is around what i want to spend but was wondering if anyone has used one of these its a Clarke ETC400 Radial Electric Tile Cutter With Stand

    This is a generic type of cutter. Mainly its only the brand name that differs.
    I had a similar one a while ago and it did the job but the pump was prone to not working..very easily clogged. I would drop the pump in a bucket of water.
    The power wasnt too good either when cutting travertine. porcelain nd marble but ok for normal stuff...but then i wouldnt use it for ceramics !
    IMO its ok and not far off the Rubi standard although the Rubi has a better motor.


    Oh and the size has limitations too, you wont get a 600mm tile in there !
