cant make mind up?
got a job for in 3 weeks 93 sq mts 800x400 italian porcelain tiles and im going to upgrade my genisus 600 as its to small now so tradetiler will be getting an order. Just not sure which one yet i like the new rubi tx 900n or the montolit puma 93 i like the rail cutters because you can view the cut line but which is better. Im swinging towards the rubi but also like the montolit is the view of the cut line very restricted on the monty ?

Re: cant make mind up?
Get the rubi and be a happy man for a long time! FACT
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it!!

Re: cant make mind up?
You can get 1250mm Klick Klock Sigmas in Boucher Lomac for £400. Big push cutter, used one on a job and was making light work of 1200 porcelain.

Re: cant make mind up?
my tx 1200 n let me down on 80 x 80 porcelain this week and i ended up having to wet cut, have to agree with ED (aston tiling) rubi up to 700 then I would go with a different cutter on the really big stuff

Re: cant make mind up?
I use the superpro 750 for most porcelain jobs that i do its never let me down and i really rate this cutting machine its a bit heavy and doesnt come in a fancy carry case but its a good reliable machine that cuts porcelain really well I am thinking of buying the 900 version i will try and find a picture of this machine

Always thought the klick klock Sigma system was a bit of a gimmick. And it it is for your every day run of the mill 600x600, but for anything over a metre long, it made perfect sense. Nice long handle to put good breaking pressure on it rather than a stubby TX breaker.

how does the klick klock system work ?

Re: cant make mind up?
here you go gary,
heres a klick klock in action....
forward scribe,
then pull back the handle back to where you started,
then finally flip the handle over and break...its the handle flipping over that denotes the klick klock system..

Dunno what Sigma it was i used before but it wasnt like that. It had the sprung base? and i thought that was blinding. My TS would have smashed that to pieces.
