I got a set very similar to these last year called "Fugen Boy" from BES and also available from screw fix. 5mm, 8mm at 45 degrees and a round radius one. very good, easy to clean and give a nice tidy joint.

have a set in my tool box from last year used them once forgot about them prefer a finger more control!![]()

Tried them when I was still getting the hang of using my fingers - wouldn't use them now. With your finger you can feel what the bead is doing allowing you to slow down, speed up, press on harder or ease off. No silicone tool can do that.

im sure if thet were that good all the lads who work for the sealant companies would use them ,ive never seen any of them use them

Found the main bit of my Fugi kit is starting to wear down after a few months use. Seems like there would be a fairly limited lifespan on these products if you're doing a lot of linear meters a week.

Got a set from tradetiler a few years ago, always get comments about how neat my silicone is...could not find them on the last job and had to use my finger and it looked like a plumber had done it...![]()

The best tip I was shown was using a weak fairy liquid, makes an amateur like me look quite good .... well ... not too bad![]()
Experience is not years of doing a job, it's mistakes you have made and what you learned.
