    Default Stanley fatmax CL2 laser

Screwfix selling these for £100, does anyone have one, what do they think? I know it's limited distance but I never have need for anything over 6-7 metres.

ps... looked on Amazon, got their US site by mistake. They sell it for $100 which is £70, yet the UK site sells it for £118. Another UK rip-off.........

Bought CL2 when on 'offer' and only paid £85. Performs well for budget carry anywhere laser. Use mine in conjunction with camera tri pod for wder rooms. Have also found it to be pretty accurate and quite robust dispite not being best looked after tool! Would recommend as addition to tool box

Was on offer at Screwfix Glasgow, also picked up Yale alarm (garage now properly protected) same day at half price. Did a lot of traipsing around tool merchants and looked at many makes of lasers before going for Stanley version. Seemed to be one of best all round (price, size, build) Was just lucky on day when buying other stuff that I saw the offer as did not even look at screwfix for a laser. Bought July, but tool guys were prepared to deal if asked, Screwfix was better at time. Keep looking or just ask for extra discount!!

Awesome bit of kit. I use it for almost everything.
Tiling obviously, kitchen units, doors and handles, picture rails etc, radiators, shelves, floor tiles, ceiling lights. List is endless.
I've got the CLS version. Got it for £55 from magnet trade

Stanley-Bostitch Stanley Self Levelling Laser Plumb Bob Screwfix £68.49 Part No 28920, saw this advertised today but don't have this model so can't vouch fot it. Price seems good for self level. Toolbox selling same one for £59.32 plus £4.95 P&P (save couple £'s)
