    Default sponges

I had a ceramic floor job last week, 'stupidly' i left my washboy sponges in the shed drying and something squashed them...
Anyway, i'd seen that Topps had started selling them so i stopped on the way and bought one...what a waste of time and money...i might as well have used a piece of plastic, resorted to the rubi sponge and loads of clean water
Promptly ordered some 'proper' sponges from our friends at Tradetiler, they arrived early tuesday morning...normal business was resumed tuesday afternoon

One of the things we got as feedback was that tilers dont like messing with their sponges!

In our sales pitch we were encouraning people to use their own sponges. But it seems tilers are very protective of their sponges and dont like to mix jobs.

Thats why we decided to introduce our own little sponge.

I've just got back from ToolFair and I cant tell you how many people got very excited to get a free sponge if they bought a drill kit on the day!

I had no idea its such an emotive subject. We actually run out of sponges on day one. Next show we will remember to stock up!

Topps are just a waste of time and money, they used to sell half decent gear but now they just sell utter rubbish. You cant beat the sponges from Trade Tiler. The course that i took (PTS) in Warrington also sell decent sponges. Been on a job in Manchester since June and only gone through about 5 sponges, not bad at £1.25 each
