hi
im just at college doing a tilling course, im just wondering wheres the best place to get all my tools from, and can anyone recomend a good all round cutter, we use ts-40, is it best to go for a cutter that can cut porcelin?
also what tools manufactor would you recomend, and also im looking into getting a van and i am wondering if a small type off van like a berlingo or partner would be suitable

Re: Need help
Tiling Tools Menu
Buy the best you can afford, i would recommend the TX range from Rubi for porcelain.

Re: Need help
As for choice of van i think that size would be perfect but you may wish to add roof bars and a tube to hold longer items such as trim and straight edges.

Re: Need help

Re: Need help
Hi Smith(y) Never buy cheap. Sometimes if you are just starting, work your budget out re tools and vans. Toolwise, the list is endless and van wise it can be cheaper to get a large car. I could get three mtr lengths in my Senic, you can't in a small van! (as Sir ramic said, you need a rack etc) just something to think about mate

Re: Need help
i must admit the stainless trowels are nice as mentioned dont buy cheap stuff try thinking of it as a investment towards the future also if you are going to be using something every day its good to get a better version of something if its something you are only going to use every now and then perhaps its ok to look at a cheaper alternative
as for vans i use a kangoo with a good roof rack mainly for 8x4 sheets etc its good on fuel and is large enough for everything ( and i do kitchen fitting etc too so i have carpentry/plumbing stuff etc in their too!) i found and perhaps its me but when i had a larger van (vw t5) it just got filled up with rubbish and stuff that i normally leave in my garage and it became very unorganised
good luck with everything
