Just thought it woud be good to try and find the cheapest priced tools around by naming a certain tool and using all of our contacts to find the cheapest supplier.

Starting with the Rubi TS 50, how much would you pay for this tool from your supplier?

bought mine for £144 about a year ago on e-bay/tiling shop

i can get a ts 60 for 179

ts 50 is 119 +vat ts 60 is 142 + vat

so would that be about 160 ,thats not bad is it

The ts50 is useless...even the Plus version is a dinosaur these days.

ive got 2 ts60s and a ts50 and they are excellent quality,ive got a ts30 here and ive had it for about 5 years and its battered ,it doesnt cut a straight line for just anyone youve got to push the bar to the right as your scribing ,ive done over 1000 council refurbs with it ,if i could put it in a frame and hang it on my wall i would,ill tell you another good buy the rubi wet wheel cutter 110vault its small quite light and doesnt spill a drop of water price about a 120 notes from any proffesional tile shop,if admin could tell me how to post a picture of it i will,beleive you me its seen some graft

ive got the ts40 plus and the ts70plus,,they seem a good combination to cover the domestic scene..

To post a picture you need to host your pic somewhere on the web, try photobucket for instance. Once you upload it to photobucket you get a list of 3 links below the pic you need the URL one. Simply copy the link text and in your message here click the add picture icon. Once the box comes up asking for the link properties simply paste in the link you copied from photobucket. That should see you right.

Or send me the images and I can upload them to here for you, PM me for me email address. I'll then send you back the URL's for them which you need. I may activate uploading though one day.

Just had a weeks holiday in Spain While there just out of curiosty I popped into a DIY store because I am just in the process of getting my tiling tools together. Well the prices were so good I could not resist and bought a Rubi TS 50 for 144 euros a Rubi ND 125 wet cuttter for 84 euros thats a saving of over 30% on prices in this country. I won't tell you some of the prices of their floor tiles I don't like to see grown men cry but as usual we are being ripped off in the UK.

while you were there did you get a price per meter for fitting ,no well im sure youll be surprised if i say roughly £4.50 per meter, in some areas even lower,if you want to go back ive got a couple of numbers for some main contractors from the uk that have offices in madrid ,barcelona and fuengirola if you want to go back for £50 sheets a day!!!!
