i dont think they'd beat the alpro ones from tradetiler,i have mine over 2 years now ans still love them. well scuffed mind you and the velcro is not gripping like it used to.But they only tighten below you knee so very comfortable and not much more pricewise either!

Aye Joe I deeked them Alpro ones on the tradetiler website - what they like?
they look a bit bulky.....

Knee pads with straps,Thats like a tight fitting bra, ( not that I would know) uncomfortable, try snickers gel pads that fit into your trousers, real comfy.

I have propper knee pain lately joe..i think i will have to get some of those Alpro ones.. they are supposed to help knee recovery i heard..![]()

yes tryed them, crap the labourer has them now, i'v gone back to me B&Q SPECIALS they great and cheap £15![]()

Apparently the alpro are designed by some german doctor,i'd believe that too.If any of you know someone with a pair ask to try them on and kneel down! you would not believe it,very comfortable ! the only problem i have with them is the fact that i stay on my knees too much! i get up stiff a few times lately but no sore knees at all ! money WELL spent and i even have a mate who is about 17stone and he wears them too,he's never off his knees either,

doesnt pay to neglect your knees always use good ones and change reg as i found out rec pads were 6 months old pushed them to far ended up having fluid drained of one knee couldnt kneel on it for a week dam hard kneeling on one leg![]()

i think you will find as they are flat they will be difficult but have never tried or seen them before but i have tried lots over my 27 years but all i do is floor tiling so use them 10 hours a day :Pete

pjc try the flat ones they seem to be more stable and tend not to roll around under your knees![]()

that's like me i need the roll under the knees, they are to flat and square so knees feel restricked, everyones diffrent![]()

Alpro ones, had a while now from Trade Tiler, would'nt use any others

Think I might give these Alpro jobbies a whirl - everyone who's bought them, seems convinced by themAlpro ones, had a while now from Trade Tiler, would'nt use any othersAre they an acquired taste though??

Having a valcro strap that dos'nt dig into the back of the knee, not cheap but well worth the money IMO.
Got some gel ones in the van and thats where they stay
