hi has anyone else had this problem went to use my grout float the other day and found it had came appart from the middle onle had a about 6 month hardly used it

stick to marshall town only £8.99 from b&q ware house about the only thing worth buying there
yes I've had this problem, I wouldn't recommend them.
this platinum products is bad. Dmitri had one for christmaas and not more than 6 week it broken. his wife want to treat him ot nice quipkment and he get this float that broke aprt. his wife upset coz they have littl e money and was present. now he have rubi and is very happy. get rubi
a use marshalltown all the time thought would try the platinum range al just stick to the blue handle marshaltown

I bought a Grout Float from CTW for £8, and the corners started peeling after the 1st use. A bit dissapointing really, as i could've bout a £3 from a local tat shop that would've lasted better.![]()

Did read about this float quite a while ago thats why I did'nt purchace one, the corner did seem to start coming away and even breaking off

Excact same thing happened to mine! was not cheap either! good float while it lasted but wont be buying another thats for sure!!
Marshall town are good but i find they start peeling in the corners after a while
Never tried a rubi float, are they anygood?
never tried them mate the marshalltown is gd but then corners do peel off



After over 32 years in the trade i honestly can say that these are the best grout floats i have ever used.

Looks cool Sir Ramic. Same kind of edging as an epoxy float? Softer I suppose? Always a fan of Marshalltown stuff but I have never been a great fan of the aluminium plate. Still use one of course. Superior tools made virtually an exact copy but with a hard plastic plate so no metal marks to get rid of. One of the only decent tools they made but I have not seen them here. Hopefully Marshalltown will sort out the problem one day.



You can buy spare rubbers easily, i keep spares for black grout and white grouts.

Iv been using ramondi floats now for a few years and they are fab! My floor float has been going strong now for 18 months! Not bad.the wall like sirs has changeable rubbers so fab too.

Can't you just take them back if they break so soon?
