Re: Stud Finder
I have various Zircons ranging in age up to 15 years or so. They work well. I recently bought the one with "the bells and whistles", which finds steel, pipe, electric, etc. I think it was only about $50. It will deep scan plaster, as well.

Re: Stud Finder
Rob - is that new plaster skim (say under 4 months old), Ive got a Ryobi and my mate has a top of the range Bosch and neither work on plaster at second fix stage. though they both work on old established plaster in our houses back home, but for new house builds Id like to find a stud finder that works.

Rad, I was thinking about saying something, but Dave and GRR run a tight ship around here and we can't get away with much.

Re: Stud Finder
This is a good topic as some public liability policies insist you have a stud/pipe finder written into the small print and not having one may invalidate your cover I am lead to believe
