Special red tile pencil!!
Hi
While highly rating the Laserline autocross should have also mentioned
one of the bathrooms was 39sm2 of very highly glazed, dark, metre long porcelanosa tiles.
On a pre test had difficulty marking these tiles visibly so purchased numerous pencils from places.
Out of the pencils bought only the special RED tile pencil from tt was reliable and worked on this tile surface.
Easy to forget something like a pencil can be differance to having a good or bad start to a job.

Re: Special red tile pencil!!
Try chinagraph pencil. Used to use these when I was a chemist for writing on glass jars and the like. I got several still which I use for marking up metal before cutting it. They write on pretty anything smooth where a pencil wont work - use nail polish remover to remove the line when you finished cutting..

Re: Special red tile pencil!!
Can these china pencils fit into a pencil sharpener so you can get a nice fine point?
Sure i had one a while ago and it was more of an oval shape and quite thick.
Cheers

Re: Special red tile pencil!!
Did a job a few weeks back sort of bamboo effect ceramic, chinagraph was hopeless ( its what I normally use ) got a squeezy tipex pen from tesco which worked ,a treat really fine point and bright white which showed up well on these tiles. This was a relief as cust. wanted me to cut round WC and I could not see either the red or blue chinagraph and I got clubcard points too boot.
