Seen an offer for 2 Stabila 96-2 beads for £70. It's a 600 and 1200 bundle. Got the same sizes but they are Fat Max, the 600 i use but the other one is not true. Is this a good price for the two?

not bad at all,you would pay near that in b&q for the 1200 for sure, but you could buy cheaper from ebay, you don't need the 300 stabila, less would do there.i have the 40" 96-2,brilliant size for what i use it for, superb quality too.

I don’t think there is a single bubble level out there made for tilers!
If you level mark a datum around a room the end caps (yes even on Stabila) prevent you from making a sharp alignment in the corners. Much better if you lever the plastic protection end caps off! This is really important for a diamond set. I want a level with sharp ends.
As for accuracy / making comments if a level is good or not, take a look at the spec which is printed on the side of the level, it will tell you how much it is out per metre or level. Then you can compare. If you flip your level when you use it then you lose this variation around a room so even if you drop it each day or beat the kids with it then its probably accurate enough for striking a datum around 4 walls. Flipping is probably more important than the original level accuracy.

(in the market for a good cheap laser – but you can't stir addy with it like you can with a nice 180cm Stabila)
