I broke the rollers on my new(ish) Raimondi Washboy today
However the builders merchants where it was bought has gone out of business!
Does anyone now of any stockists and if the rollers can be ordered separately?
Thanks

Sorr can't help it just the only post I haven't had any input tonight.
Just thought I'd say Hello Tommy.
Bought a washboy once but never got the hang of it.
Always seem to leave too much water on the tiles/ take out too much grout.![]()

considering how expensive the raimondi washboy is I was disappointed with mine the handle came loose after a few months and the rollers snapped within 6 months, its sitting in my garage now waiting for me to pull my finger out and order some spares , cost £65 pounds new , the genesis one i have now was £25 and has lasted longer

3 years for me, good as gold.
Durch sprung technic as they say in Germany![]()

I wonder who sells them...
Washboy
Made by 'Karl Dahm' Germany
If you have never used one of these, you are wasting hundreds of hours a year grouting the old fashioned way. This system has totally revolutionised grout finishing. First of all there is no more getting your hands wet and wrinkly wringing out sponges. Then there is the increased speed at which you work followed by the near perfect clean finish, even on quarry floor tiles. Not to mention the fullness of joint easily achieved. This system can pay for itself in the time saved over a couple of weeks and your customers will be impressed by the cleanness of your finish. There are plenty of washboys available but I have found this Karl Dahm washboy to be by far the best. With sealed ball bearing rollers that last for years and years and a really heavy duty galvanised metal grid to separate the sediment from the water.
If you wash the sponge out after use with clean water and store it without getting squashed when wet, it should be good for over 1000 square metres
weight 4.0 Kg
Supplied with 2 x sponges on handles (non slit type), metal grid and ball brearing sponge rollers
Click for 'In use picture'
Price: £49.95 £57.44 Including VAT at 15%

I've been thinking of getting a washboy but forget to order it in advance and just end up using the old trusty bucket and sponge, can I ask at what sqm'age do you say im getting out the wash boy? of what types of jobs? I take it you don't use it for splashbacks and such?
