Which will be the best for a beginner to cut tiles around a shaped bathroom baisin? (top of the basin is raised as a semi circle rather than flat)

why not remove basin and tile behind?

I think alot of the lads would scribe around their template, wet cut a few straight lines up to the scribe line then snap off using your nippers

or you could use a jig saw ( if your tiles are ceramic, not porcelain tho') using these jig saw blades

thanks, nippers are what I have so that saves a trip to the shop tomorrow!

Let us know how you get on and only nip small bits at a time or the tiles will break...
