Default Need a new disc for my rubi dw 250n

    Nightmare!!

Ok, my labourer has decided to labour my rubi disc by standing smoking and just waching the disc do its thing with no hands and little water in the tray.
    I ask you!
Anyway I need a replacement urgently for tomorrow in stoke on trent; urgently I mean in the morning.
I have looked at the usual DIY stores with no luck; also machinemart.

Anyone able to point me in the correct direction?.....size is 250mm with a 25.4mm bore, for porcelain.

    thanks guys

Has the blade knacked..as in diamond rim has collapsed or is it just blunt , by this i mean it won't cut and just burns the tile..?

If so then get a honing block or run a piece of sandstone through the blade to expose more diamonds....sometimes the blade just needs honing..

well seems to be plenty of rim left, what I mean the brass like coloured carrier for the diamonds.

It began taking age to do a 600mm tile, so I went to check it out after I had received a tile with a runout of 5 mm.

I used the saw and got the same, thought the blade may have gotten hot, perhaps warped a little.

    It didnt look warped though.

suggestions?...the blade is the rubi one BTW

I don't suppose you're trying to cut porcelain, with a standard ceramic blade are you bb?
