Re: Getting wet from the wet cutter.
I'll have to test this pulling towards you business...i'm not sure about line of sight...i'd prob have to take the guard off...and for complicated cuts?
NB! I already wear a scuba mask! got a bolle one find it ideal for tiling...bits can't sneak in and it doesn't steam up...eash just to lift on head also.
lacky? what is this?

Re: Getting wet from the wet cutter.
I've always considered getting wet as just part of the job. I tend to stand to the side(ish) when cutting to minimize this. Seriously considering getting the dewalt 24000 as I need a new wet cutter anyway.

No simple really, takes up quite a bit of room though.
And the water is sent away from you, so will save a fortune in bin bags, aprons and scuba diving masks!!!

Re: Getting wet from the wet cutter.
im using my angle grinder with a marcrist blade when ever possible these days instead of the wetcutter , ok you have to go outside but i usually set up the mixer in the cliients garage and do all the cutting and drilling there too, gives you more space to work inside...

Ive just invested in a norton blade for the anglegrinder, not really a method i've used before but im going to give it a bash and try and minimise the use of the wet cutter and see how it goes.

Re: Getting wet from the wet cutter.
Yea i've just got a Marcist for my angle grinder not used it yet...what do you cut onto (paving slab? use side of workbench?) do u cut the whole way through the tile?

Re: Getting wet from the wet cutter.
to oli and freed !! the angle grinder is the tilers best friend , its the most versatile tool you will own ... practice on old tiles if necessary its not hard to use , its an essential piece of kit imo....

Re: Getting wet from the wet cutter.
