Re: Rubi 1200
Saw a tiler at my local shop using one on some display tiles. Hell of a machine.

Re: Rubi 1200
A tiler who ordered one told me it had wheels and a box that looked like a coffin when delivered, Doug has one he'd be the man to ask

Re: Rubi 1200
i see that topps tiles are doin 900 cutters same as the big clinker but a bit narrower for 41 quid. Not a bad price even if you only get a few jobs outa it.

Re: Rubi 1200
dont believe the hype i have one of these and do not rate it at all when you cut tiles on the diagonal the bars bend when you try to snap the tile mine has never been 100 percent squre when cutting straight cuts just a bit disappointed with it considering what they cost new, i have the tx1200 n the screw which tightens the guage is now starting to slip aswell now i really havent used it that often so its is a big NO from me i do not rate this cutter

Re: Rubi 1200
mines the 1200n and i've had no probs apart from the locking bracket on the angle finder, it seems a bit flimsy and prone to spelching, but a must for really large format tiles. Not sure about the difference between the "tx n" and the "s" series tho'

I hear the 1200 'S' version is now discontinued - Mark Rubi will know, he doesn't post on here often though
