Default bosch pcl 1 laser level, pole attachments????

i'v currently had the bosch pcl1 laser level for over a year now and it has been totally fine, but i was thinking of getting a new one due to the fact i can't always postion it where i need it sometimes like above door frames and windows etc... on the tripod it comes with, and would like one with a pole or a wall bracket.
then i wondered if i could get a pole or bracket to attach the pcl 1 to iv seen seen several for different laser levels with the same 1/4 inch thread but not sure if it will actually fit on.
    has anyone else done this???
    any help is most appreciated.

    Regards Andy

Get one of the plasterboard supports which normally used for supporting boards to the ceilings
