Hi - i am looking for a device to quickly check approximate water absorption of tiles (similar to a moisture meter that can check wood). I'm buying from not always reputable sources in the far east, and sending every tile for independent testing can get expensive.

Is this possible? Has anyone seen / knows where these can be bought?

I have seen similar meters for checking concrete, but never ceramic tiles.

Much appreciated if anyone has experience with this or any advice.
