Are they worth the money?
Save a lot ...
I bought one from tradetiler a few years ago slightly different to this and i found it brilliant little tool, and i think any new tiler should have one in their tool box.
i bought one of them years ago and there ok.
the easiest way to do your diagonal cuts that i have found is to measure the diagonal of the tile ie:50cm then deduct the joint size from the 50cm lets say the joint is 8mm this leaves 492mm then cut a piece of cardboard or old vinyl into a square 492mm x 492mm.
you then lay the tile you want to cut onto the whole tile one back from the cut you want to make, lay the cardboard against the wall and onto the tile you want to cut draw a line at the edge of the cardboard that is laying on the tile you want to cut, then just scribe and break.
this works in a similar principle to the rubi tool but is miles quicker and you can get into tighter spots.
i actually use a 600mm square but its a bit harder to put into writing when explaining it,but it is simple.
i hope you can follow this ok.
