    Default What do you think of this?

    Hi all,

    Just starting out tiling and just bought the following on impulse from ebay, what do you guy's think it was a good buy?

    Tile cutter Electric with stand on eBay, also Saws Blades, Power Tools, DIY Tools, Home Garden (end time 15-Jan-09 1941 GMT)

    Its pretty much the same as i had for a few years and then passed on to another tiler on these forums.
    The motor is not the strongest on the market but as long as you take your time it will handle most things. If you replace the wheel with a decent quality one it will help the motor too.
    Let down by the maximum cutting length which i think is about 36cm?
    Careful with the water tray as they crack easily.

    cant see the point of taking up loads of space in you van for what is a underpowered wet saw ,you are not spending much money but we have all heard of the saying you get what you pay ,for my advice is save up for a quality machine which will last you

    It will do for starters but i bet you dont use it for more than a month! At 40 add quid cant go wrong to start you off
