    I've got one, can't offhand remember price or make, but i know that i wouldn't rely on one, much better to check manually if possible

    HI, ive got a bosch dmf 10 picked it up of ebay at a good price have a look on there might be some bargains to be had...

    ive got a black n decker cost £25 quid but im with doug here cant trust them all the time better to check to be safe!

    As a few of the other guys have said I would not rely on them being accurate in finding what you are trying to detect.
    I have had a few cheap & expensive which I used mainly for trying to detect joist in ceilings when I am fitting Parador paneled ceilings for customers. As a tool I would say they are a waste of money.

    I've got a bosch dmf 10 and it has come in very handy at times, not something i use at every job though.
