    Default Montolit tile cutter

    Hi all, anyone every used one of these cutters from the Montolit range for cutting curves in tiles ? Looks good but don't see it being used on a daily basis myself, looks to slow with the screw down breaker.

    All depends how often your going to be using one, Most domestics would probably see very little use. Don't like the look of screw down breaker

    i suppose if you were to get one you could specialise in squiggly tiling...
    i have seen a few tiling jobs where one would come in handy, but wether or not you could justify the price is another thing.

    A nice bit of kit for larger tiles, for smaller tiles if I have a curve or what ever shape needs to be cut I use a free hand tool, a cutting wheel inserted into a screwdriver handle, simply mark / score and wet cut segments up to the score, snap of segments and make good any sharps.
