Hi all , having only worked with ceramic tiles so far can anyone tell me apart from porcelain what other natural tiles will cut with a good dry cutter and what ones will only cut with a wet cutter ?

Porcleain and ceramic are man-made materials. Both should cut on a good dry-cutter, the TS+ range from Rubi has extra umph in the breaker to cater for most porcelain, though I dare say there are plenty a tiler would rather cut on a wet cutter, they can still get tough ones.

Obviously stones and marble will need wet cutters. Quarry tiles should be fine on most dry cutters. Glas can be cut on dry cutters, mosaics (even the bigger ones) on dry cutters, though the smaller ones you'd probably use your nippers on.
