    Yip,too tight,
loosen slightly with philips head screwdriver, just enough to let the wheel spin, loosen too much and your wheel will wobble when scoring or cut slight curve.
    Happy cutting oldgit.

ive used wd40 for years but recently was told to use silicone spray as it will stop all the splinters and crap from clogging up every thing.
    what do you guys say.

I wouldnt use WD40, no need really and as you say it clogs up the wheel area. All i do is wipe the main bar now and again with a cloth and maybe furniture polish once in a while.
