| Cheap tools in your area? | | Just thought i would make a post where you can add any places you can pick up cheap tools in your area, aside from the web.
Local place to me is Salford Market on a Sunday morning, most of the gear is second hand but tools that i have personally bought are in great nick. Last few months have bought:
110v box = £4
110v extension cable x 4 = 50p each
Makita 18v drill with 2 batteries, boxed, like new = £45
Dewalt Jigsaw boxed as new = £30
Rubi Pocket 40 (needed a little clean) = £5
Box of 30 BAL sponges = £5
Some weeks may go on there and it has nothing but crap but well worth a look if anyone is local to it.
Any little places in other areas? | | |

A quick run throough their feedback and history is easy enough to do. I have had some brilliant bargains from E Bay I just bought another generator and saved a £1000 on new and got a VAT Invoice off the guy and I bought a Mosmatic Skater the other week and saved £300 on new price it had been used twice.

The people that screw over your van dont want the tools for themself, they just sell them on quick as poss for enough to buy their next fix.
I'd be extremly carefull buying second hand tools from carboots, markets and second hand shops. | SST Tiling - www.sst-tiling.co.uk - Tiler Wakefield "Let the caterpillar of learning be the butterfly of skill" - GazTech May 2007 "Dream as if you'll live forever, Live as if you'll die today" - James Dean My Tile Bible |
