Hi,
Which wet cutter would you reccommend between Rubi ND180 or Plasplugs DWW180?
both are around the £100 mark and both have a similar spec...
thanks
Patrick

Both are good cutters, the plasplugs have had issues with bent spindles (although mine is fine) . With the Rubi you get the benefit of 2 wheels and a box (if you pay a lttle extra) and a better mitring system.
if it were my money i would go for the Rubi .

Hi patrick... I have the rubi 180 bl one..so if you want to have a look at one before you get one give me a shout...![]()
I'm a firm believer of you get what you pay for. As these two saws are of a similar price I reckon durability wise they are pretty even.
The Plasplugs has channels on the table top that recycles the water which makes it less messy for internal use...
Any water that makes it up onto the table top on the Rubi will eventually find its way onto the floor unless you sit it in some type of container!

plasplugs !! as phil says less mess for indoor use...
I have a plasplugs mastertiler. Great from the mess aspect. Good water recycling method. However, it ain't perfect. Motor seems fine etc and it cuts well, but the water/spray guard is poorly designed. Hard to take off and refit, if you need to. Which the guide was better as well. If they anodised it, it wouldn't mark the tile edge for a start. But hey - for the price, it does the job.

cheers all

dave - i might give you a shout to have a look at the rubi sometime before i get my purse out!
